From 16 to 18 March 2024, Franchise Expo Paris is back!

Press release - October 2023
Following a 2023 show placed under the banner of renewal and welcoming more than 30,000 visitors, Franchise Expo Paris will be back in 2024 with even more new developments: the format is changing, as
are the opening days! The 42nd edition will be taking place over three days, from Saturday to Monday, in response to demand from exhibitors and candidates. And in their continued efforts to modernise the show, Infopro Digital and the French Franchising Federation are this year placing full focus on the visitor experience. Make a date for 16-18 March 2024 at Paris Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 1.

Three new days, an expectation from brands and candidates

The first new development, which was revealed at the last show, is that Franchise Expo Paris will now be held over three days, instead of four. This change was requested by a large number of brands and will enable them to optimise their show by spending less time there and gaining in efficiency. In the same logic, the programme has been redesigned to offer candidates a range of talks and workshops focussing on the most popular topics. A new format also brings with it new dates, with the show opening from Saturday to Monday. The aim here is to maximise the attendance of entrepreneurial-minded visitors by adapting the show to their availability, which most often is at the weekend.

With Franchise Expo Paris, our desire is to put on a show for current and potential entrepreneurs that meets their needs and takes their constraints into consideration. This adjustment of the format was keenly anticipated by everyone, and we had a duty to do it,” says Véronique Discours-Buhot, Chief Executive of the FFF.

"This new edition is looking very promising. We redesigned our proposition last year to make Franchise Expo Paris the unmissable tradeshow for entrepreneurship in France and abroad. We want to attract all project developers, and we are banking on this new format to appeal to even more brands and visitors!” adds Sylvie Gaudy, Exhibition Director of Franchise Expo Paris

An enhanced visiting experience for future entrepreneurs

Once again this year, the show has been designed to make franchising candidates’ visits run smoothly. They will be able to browse the offering as they wander between the exhibition’s 10 sector zones, or focus their attention on their preferred sector of activity. In the same vein, and to help visitors find their way around more easily,
Francise Expo Paris is introducing floor markings for each exhibitor with the stand number and a QR code giving information on the brand to help the candidate generate a visiting report in a click. In parallel, a mobile app is being launched to digitise the show floor plan, the programme, the exhibitor list and the appointment schedule, making
exchanges easier with networks. As they walk around, candidates will also be able to drop into one of the exhibition’s feature areas: the agora,
the two workshops and six pitch zones. The big new development is this year is a TV studio stage broadcasting throughout the show with daily programmes in market trends. Another new feature is the enlargement of the Cities and Territories area with its own pitch forum, aiming to attract project developers to their communities.

About the French Franchising Federation

A major player in the dynamism of the French economy, the French Franchising Federation is the professional federation of franchisors and their franchisees since 1971. It represents the franchising model, a model of entrepreneurship based on the transfer of know-how and the sharing of value. Its role is to promote, defend and perpetuate the franchise model, but also to federate its ecosystem and create the tools and the environment for the development and performance of franchise networks. In 1981, the French Franchise Federation created the
Franchise Expo Paris exhibition, which has since become a major annual international franchising event. In France, franchising accounts for 1,972 networks, 84,497 franchised outlets, for a turnover of more than
76.6 billion euros. The activity generates 828,178 jobs (direct and indirect). In 2009, the FFF created the Acadélmie de la Franchise, the first training organisation for franchising professions, whose services are aimed at future franchisees, but also to future and current franchisors.
